Entering college comes with unique challenges and struggles, such as new responsibilities and unfamiliar environments. College students go through a period of transition and adjustment, which can often trigger stress and anxiety.
Here’s a list of things you can do to help accomplish your college goals:
- Practice using good time-management skills
- Make the most of your classes and your academic advisor
- Take advantage of campus resources (ex. The Learning and Writing Center, Disability Services, etc.)
- Allow yourself to make mistakes and try to learn from failure
- Stay active and involved on campus (as much as possible)- join clubs, participate in events
